With two decades of advocacy experience across the spectrum in Washington, D.C., Andy Krakowski is a trusted source of information and advice to clients and prospects. As NextWave’s Vice President of Business Development, Andy enthusiastically seeks new opportunities to help agencies, corporations, and associations to find authentic voices for their advocacy needs.
Andy came to NextWave from RAP Index, where he helped government affairs professionals identify and manage key contacts for advocacy. Prior to that experience, he spent over a decade as a government affairs professional, executing grassroots campaigns, organizing lobbying efforts, and building issue awareness to effect political and societal change in the nonprofit and association sectors. He got his start interning for Congressman Norman Mineta and later moved to the Senate as a staffer for Dianne Feinstein.
Having grown up in Northern California, Andy completed his undergraduate work at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and earned a Master’s Degree in Government at Johns Hopkins.
